SEASON ZERO · FIRST TIDE
5V5 CURSED-SEAS TACTICAL SHOOTER
Two crews of five drowned spirits. One powder keg. Set it at the site and light the fuse, or douse it before it blows — first to rounds takes the tide.

01 — HOW A TIDE IS WON
Everything is tuned like a competitive shooter: a -second set, a -second fuse, recoil patterns you can learn by heart. Then it is dressed in wet timber, verdigris and lantern light.
Mode 01
The keg spawns with the boarders. Death is not the end — you come back and keep fighting until it is set. Once it is, the fuse decides everything.
Mode 02
No keg. No clock. No second life. Five against five in the dark until one crew is gone — the red flag was raised in earnest three centuries ago.
Mode 02 is in the config and in development — not yet selectable.
Counter-strafe to a dead stop and your shot is exact again inside ms. Crouch, walk silent, jump. Hold a cutlass and you run at m/s; shoulder the long nine and you drop to . The choice is a real one, every round.
Press V any time to drop from the over-the-shoulder camera into first person. Bots fill every empty seat at three difficulties, so a match starts the moment you press play.
Read straight out of the game's config — the same file the match simulation runs on. If a number here is wrong, the game is wrong too.
02 — THE DROWNED
Five playable spirits, one skill and one ultimate each, every one of them rigged and animated in the game today. Three more stay sealed beneath the waterline.
Every skill and ultimate below runs in the match today. Buy your charge in the buy phase, then press Q and X.
03 — THE GROUNDS
Three entrances into every site. Long mains, short flanks, catwalks and windows you can shoot straight through. Mirror Shoals is mirrored to the metre, so neither crew starts the tide with an advantage.
IN-GAMELIVE
A perfect mirror, built around a central plaza. Flank tunnels run underneath and a mid box breaks the long sightline — whatever you find on your half, the enemy has the same on theirs.
CONCEPTIN DESIGN
A ship graveyard. Hulls lie beached at angles and become the architecture — the tilted decks are your heavens, the gun ports your windows. A plank bridge in the middle decides most rounds.
CONCEPTIN DESIGN
A port town. A canal with two bridges, a spice warehouse fought room by room, and a lighthouse that owns the hill. The only ground where the sun is against you.
STRAIGHT FROM THE BUILD
Letter of Marque, the deck, spirit select, the buy menu, match results and a career page. The full loop runs in your browser right now — the picture below is a frame from the game, not concept art.

04 — THE ARSENAL
Black powder means fewer shots that bite deeper, and a reload that is a decision, not a habit. Every piece below existed in the 1700s. Prices are in doubloons — the money you earn inside a match. There is no real-money store.
All three are purchasable and throwable today — 6 7 8. Smoke blocks sight, not bullets: firing blind into a cloud still connects, and that is a real tactic.
Recoil is a pattern, not a dice roll. The first shot is always exact; the long gun's first climb dead straight before the spray begins to sweep. It is identical every single time — for you and for the bots you are shooting at.
05 — THE LADDER
06 — THE ROAD
Everything marked LIVE runs in your browser today. Everything else is being built, in this order.
5v5 versus bots, Letter of Marque, the deck, ranked with placements, daily articles, Seaglass, career history, save codes.
Five rigged and animated spirits, over-the-shoulder and first-person cameras, real PBR surfaces and props, dusk lighting.
Every spirit's Q and X, plus stinkpots, sounding lines and grenados — all running in the match, all usable by the bots too.
Real crews on our server with client-side prediction and lag compensation — combat runs on the server, not in your browser, so the ladder cannot be cheated client-side. Bots keep the queue alive.
Two more grounds, one at night among the wrecks and one in daylight through a port town.
The ladder wired to online matches, plus The Boneyard and Freeport.
